In my watched items I have 5 individual Escher auctions that have ended. I was not the high bidder on any of them. If I had been the high bidder on all of them my tab would have been $2,351.00 before shipping and insurance. There is one finishing in a couple of days that I am watching now. It is currently at $355.00. I have the exact same stone in the identical box and mine is mint NOS with all labels and ink stamps on the clean side. Anyhow, I watch a lot more than I bid and my bank account is much healthier for it.

Jimmy, I'll give you $250 for it. plus shipping and Insurance, of course.

Just to help you make room for new ones.

I've got it in my will that it is going to be cremated with me when I go.

What eventually made me stop was when my wife asked me to show her how ebay works.
