Why Glen ? It's only up to $202.00 with 21 hours to go. As Perry White would say."Great Caesar's Ghost !!!!" What is this about ? Twenty bids and most of them predictably by two guys, in a bidding war, that have to have it. I'm wondering if this isn't the Pike version of that Norton combo that the Aussie Ax men go the big bucks for ?
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

The bidders probably think it is, due to the red side and dual grit, but the logo is wrong. THE Norton has the word Norton encased in an oval, and the two sides are red and black.

Well yeah but Pike was bought out by Norton so this may have been Pike's earlier equivalent of the Norton version ? Than again, you're right about the colors being different. I can't get over the $ these guys are willing to spend on this and I wish I knew why.

Best axe stone on Earth, if you ask an axe man. I talked to a fellow recently who has 3 of them, and competes in ax competitions. You need an incredible edge to reduce a log to flinders in seconds, and THE Norton is apparently the best at ax sharpening.
