    I hate to say such things, but my instincts tell me that the recent glut of fillies, dropped the market price, so the usual vendors are shilling up their own blades to restore the status-quot

    You will notice that they have switched from low starting bids with no reserve, to very high starting bids, and reserve prices.

    I hate those darn filarmonicas. Albeit very distinct in design, I think they're the ugliest razors I've laid eyes on. I can't understand why people are so crazy about em'. Oh well I'm certain there are many who are glad to see one less person interested in them. LOL Just my opinion.

    You know, I know exactly what you mean. I wouldn't call them the ugliest razors I've ever seen, but they certainly are not attractive to me. If I'm dropping that kind of money I better be able to describe it as GORGEOUS!

    We all have opinions and THANK GOD that we all don't like the same razor or most of us couldn't afford to enjoy grooming. Most of us here on the forum wouldn't dream of giving that kind of money on a production razor. A one off from one of the craftsmen we have here and those like Livi, I can see it.
