Puma Dubl Duck! WHAT?
Bresnick Puma Dubl Duck Straight Razor with Box Vintage - eBay (item 380286809682 end time Nov-14-10 19:00:19 PST)
Tang is stamped puma/solingen on one side, and has the 2 ducks with a New York stamp on the other!
I'm thinking this is some kind of knock off.

Nope! They exist and are quite rare. That thing will go for a lot of money.

well, i don't know how rare they are, i've had two and i've seen few more. i think they're more ducks than pumas.
i know how much i sold mine for, so i'd be quite curious how much this will go for.

About needing more, not about only having three of them. Had four but returned one to an ebay seller due to an inaccurate description. They come up from time to time. Shave like a Puma HC or a dubl duck IME.
Now for the controversial statement ...... I have a hunch that Puma made the dubl ducks for a period of time and maybe the C-Mons. Nothing but my own intuition based on having a number of each, studying their characteristics and honing and shaving with them. I could be wrong, I was wrong once before.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
