I written the following question and saved it. I send it to every seller who has a razor I like but who hasn't listed the size. Several sellers have thanked me for the info. If many of you would send it too, we can educate many of them.

What is the width (depth) of the blade from the shaving edge to the back (spine)? This will be less than one inch.

This is the only important measurement to straight razor users - it tells us a lot about how the razor will shave - we are not concerned with the length of the razor.
