Cool stand, but the stone is one that I would definitely stay away from...it is NOT an escher & is broken, useless for straight razors.
Hehehe let me go through E-bay find the highest priced stones and market my ad to hit all those search parameters :( I love his marketing prowess

That reminds me, I contacted him in an inexperienced manner asking if it would be a good for my razors. I was just curious to see if he was willing to take advantage of someone from an inexperienced standpoint. Jim I could see that winding him up and then him becoming even more $_$ lolQuote:

I agree that it is a cool stand. I see also the bottom dowel would be good for testing your edge and save your thumb pad from abuse!

I have one of these with a slate hone. I didnt pay anywhere near what he is asking for that.
