Pics are awful,wonder what the scales are made from,me thinks plastic.
yeah those are some pretty terrible pics for an auction lol
Ended at $217? I guess these are ramping up in the hype machine...
Yeah the scales are plastic version for sure - the ivory are shaped differently and don't have the MK stamp.
I thought they've been going for quite a bit of money for a while. I've seen one person sell them relatively often with extremely heavy hone wear and pitting for $300 (they get bid up to that). I consider his photographs extremely misleading but he's been doing that for years.
This one is pretty nice:

Ho hum... One day!
I've been wondering what's the hubbub about a Heljistrand now for some time. I see some shoot skyward immediately, while others languish with no bids. I can't tell a difference between the ones selling and the ones not. Is there a significance to the model number?
M.K = More Kash ;)
The reason is:They are fantastic razors,The 32s and 33s are big blades,if clad with orig Ivory,Helji Ivory is the finest of the finest,(today it is sold as gem quality at $1.50+ per/gm) If you can find it.
I know people that have paid $500.00 for an MK 134 blade,(just the blade,is 8/8) perfect specimens are not often seen.
Is alot of run of the mill crap around tho.
