Thread: Sterilizing/Disinfecting Used Raors

Hi all,

I am new to straights in general and was wondering about the proper technique for ensuring that you don't get anything nasty from a used razor.

My first razor is a brand-spanking new TI made of Sheffield steel. But I am now on the hunt for more modestly priced razors to begin a rotation. That being said I won the following razor:

Any comments? I figure that even if it turns out to be a POS that I can use it to practice honing.

So, assuming that I can get this puppy to a shavable edge, what do I need to do to keep from getting hep. c or something else nasty?
