Default An example of Robeson's "The shave that fits your face"

It appears that none of my Robesons have been truly broken in yet. According to this auction this razor's "Blade has the curved feature to fit the face." Sweet! Just a few more years of heavy-handed honing should have my Robesons in peak "face fitting" condition. Or, I could save all that elbow grease and bid forty bucks for this pre-fitted blade?

    Regards - Walt

You're wrong, the proper break (in) is only possible through heavy-handed shaving, not heavy handed honing. If it doesn't hurt you're not doing it right and will never grow up to be a real man

Less than 10 stitches doesn't count.

That thing is frowning so badly that I think it disapproves of me!

Actually, you are all wrong, what you can't see in the particularly bad picture is that this is the movie razor we've all been looking for.
It's designed to be used at 90 degrees rather than the 30 or less. It has actual shaving edges each at about 25 degrees off from what you can see so that you put the frown AROUND your cheek with the shaving edges then aligned.
Very highly prized custom I'm sure.
Honing it again would be difficult I'm sure, but we have hone-masters here... Right?
