I usually bid high on the razors with crummy pictures, that are rusty, stained, etc., so long as i can make out a good deep makers stamp and its a wedge style blade. most everything can be buffed out on greaseless, and wedges allow for some pitting to be removed. I've won many a fine gem for a good price by taking the risk. However, you may occasionally find a blade with a hairline crack in it. In that case, if it wasn't stated in the description, or shown in the pictures, you can get a refund, or open a case and get a refund grudgingly...

Hello
As I live in france, I own many Le Grelot hospitalet (very good blade, but commun over here), but what makes the high price of this one, is that's a wedge type razor.

I have only see one other Le Grelot with a wedge type blade (it was in a collection of a friend).
I have a very large collection (more than 1000 razor of all type) and I don't own a Le Grelot wedge...
It's my explaination, but I could be wrong...
