Hi all,

Would it be good form to post what I'm selling on eBay if I felt it would be interesting to the members of this forum?

I don't want to break the rule by just advertising on here what I'm selling on eBay. Also I do not have enough posts or months of membership to post in the sales section yet.

I'll be guided by you guys.

Personally I don't do it, some do ad a link in the auction section from time to time.

My thoughts are that it's bad form on any community regardless of the rules. Either deal with the community (and with proper respect to that community, exclude the outside world) or deal with the world and do not advertise in the community.

These are just my opinions that may or may not make sense to anyone else or their ethics. YMMV

I prefer to buy and sell here. I trust the people of the forum, and nobody would want to screw up there repution by selling garbage like you will fine on the bay.

Get involved in some of the threads here and before you know it, you can post stuff up.

Thank you Gents for the advice. I'll wait until I've accrued enough posts and time to sell in the classifieds section. I too like to sell to people that I trust and the stuff that I'm planning to sell I'd like to go to a shaver who would appreciate it.

There in lies the benefits of dealing with this community.

They will appreciate it, AND there will be less likelihood of a bad outcome because we all speak the same language. Expectations on the bay vary widely and wildly.

Nothing like selling a nice razor to someone that intends to scrape stickers off a window, then leaves negative feedback when the blade chips LOL
