I have a GB Anchor up for auction now on Ebay. It has a smile and is 1 & 5/16ths at it's widest spot.
Yeah, I wonder what a 12/8+ shave even feels like. The part right under the nose is what I'm interested in...
It has to be XTG. :)
I never even honed mine...always seemed like more of a novelty than a functional razor.
So, Ivan, did you get it? :)
If not, here's the next one:

Blades of that size are not a novelty, are alot of fun actually

I am slowly starting to come to grips with the fact that I may never own one of these monsters. The price of these razors is insane (I would gladly pay them though if I knew the wife wouldn't kill me). That anchor stamp is just so cool.
Here's the only one I have found for sale at the moment. Maybe we could all pitch in and treat it kinda like a time share.

Looks like it's too late for that one too man. Someone mentioned it already, but these razors are totally tulips. The only reason they're worth that much is because of one auction really. Before that they topped around $400 or so and even that was horribly expensive. A couple years ago you could pick up big blades for cheap. One day, be it sooner or later, the price will crash.
