    Default Bought my first straight!

Alright ladies, I did as the board suggested and purchased a 'shave ready' straight from a forum member (that Jorco that was listed). Boughts me a used strop, a new cake o' soap (from our sponsor) and am waiting for the goodness to show up!

I've cleaned out the second sink, the one that used to be the 'poopy baby diaper sink', and claimed it as the new 'man sink' for shaving. I typically shave in the shower, but don't want to fumble drop the new blade and take off my johnson.

I came to this board looking for advice on Jnats to help me get that last bit of 'scary sharp' out of my Nishiki's. I got HAD bad...and more jnats than I can shake a stick at and we're gonna see what the nakayama stone can really do! (favorite, by the way, is a hideriyama from Maksim...somebody should buy it's brother)

    Now...the waiting and anticipation!

By the way...my son should hit puberty sometime in the next 36 months. I'm starting him off with straights. Assuming I don't Colombian necktie myself between now and then!

Sounds like your off to a good start. Good luck with the shaves. Sounds like you've got 36 months to get it right.
