Thanked: 37Wife is Encouraging RAD
After sending my razor off to be honed I was using my shavette which is normally reserved for travel. There is something about me using a real SR that she seems to be obsessed about so she suggested that I get another SR to use when my main razor is being honed. By the end of the conversation she also decided that my synthetic travel brush is not good enough and I need to find a small badger brush.
And so it begins...

Hmmm?!? My wife does this sometimes, too. But, there's always a catch...what is she looking to buy for herself?

Mrs. Moo sees shaving, any kind, as part of the cost of doing business. She seems not to care one way or the other given I am not prone obvious to excess. I think an actual proactive RAD wife is pretty darn cool.

She IS a keeper.
The threads are full of members whose wives are not so encouraging.
+1 to 'Don't Mess it up' advice from earcutter
+1 to 'buy her something in appreciation from Phrank
+1 to the cautionary tale from TaipeiJake....

I "suffer" a similar malady...in my case, SWMBO is responsible for finding all 5 of my razors so far, and she personally purchased 4 of them??!!??
But, as TaipeiJake points out, caution IS advised: I somehow found myself signing paperwork on a 2014 30th Anniversary Edition Chrysler Town and Country a couple of days ago. Not that I'm suggesting there's any connection between her new minivan and the razors!
