Just finished my second shave, no blood :rock:. My face is a little wind burned from that nice warm (-3 this morning, warmed up to 23) breezy day in Chicago land. So my face is a bit soar but still loving the feel of the shave.

Very nice, and congrats!! I still manage to nick myself slightly on the mustache area. What is your approach? The last time I tried XTG on that area and cut myself twice. When I go in a downwards motion I don't nick myself but I don't do as good of a job. That part is so tricky for me as I'm still new to straight razor shaving as well.
On the upper lip and chin I tried several different grips until I found one that I was comfortable with. That is what worked for me. I wound up using a non traditional grip, one that I felt stable and comfortable using.Quote:
