Thought I'd share my folly... I have been SR Shaving for quite awhile now and still get the occasional nick but nothing usually too much to worry about. I also still shave my head with a Multi-Blade and it has been soooo long I cannot really remember the last time I had a 'Bad' Cut and I've never had anything like this... Not even when I grabbed my Aunt's round razor when I was just a Little Dude (Hockey Pucks BITE, what?!):

I was just finishing a Pull and going over the crown of my head and I ducked my head a bit as I usually do but this time I must have added rotation somehow, perhaps looking to the side and the Razor tilted, dug in and took two fingernail sized fillets out of my head and cut them so clean I had to tweeze them out from between the blades... They looked like Pathology Specimens ready for examination!

So, this pic is about 30 seconds in as I wanted to Text it to my Wife and gross her out (... unlikely, she is an EMT, but still fun..) and then it took a couple hours to get it stopped... I ended up using a few folded over whole-squares of TP to finally get it slowed down then ended up leaving that in too long and started the whole process over. Not much pain, really, but what a mess!

Still not totally sure how I did it or how I ended up with complete divots chunked out rather than stopping when it first dug in... I think it surprised me enough I just pulled through quickly as I felt the bite!?

Could also have been a Kharmic Retribution thing as I've talked a bit of smack about Multis even though I still use one. So, just in case that's the case...

Dorco Multis are GREAT! Shaving my head once/week I get 4-5 months out of a single cartridge! And, that's a good and a bad thing as I bought in bulk so have a few years worth of stock left before I can see if switching to a nice, mellow DE would be preferable for Head Shaving. But, then again, if a Multi can do this... Not sure I want to fit myself for a Burlap Bag like The Elephant Man after what a DE may do to me.

Eternal vigilance my Friends... These things BITE!
