Steve,
Words of wisdom. Thank you.
Dont: shave after a few too many beers...
Confucius say: man who try and catch falling blade need to concern himself with falling anatomy.
Yeahhhh, buffer grabbed one so I grabbed it; well at it...looked down, it was just sitting there lodged in the side of my thumb. Look ma no hands!
Er, 'someone I know' was having a good few beers one evening and looking at SRP, brought a straight over the net and thought it was a good time to celebrate the fine purchase and have a shave. After selecting a nice Joseph Rodgers (pre stropped) proceeded with a very shaky 1st pass, 2nd pass going well till: oops nice little nick and Mr Rodgers on the floor with his own little nick! Lesson learnt! :beer2:

One night on the bourbon with the guys I said "hey look what I can do".
It will always end in tears & blood, your mates in tears laughing and me with a tissue to my face stemming the blood......
Don't shave angry.
Shaving after workout or heavy physical stress can lead to shaking=no go! This goes for caffeine as well.
Don't be afraid to shave dry.
Don't be afraid to shave without a mirror.
Never shave rushed.
When in doubt, STOP! --No dishonor in going to the DE or a cartridge, if you must.
Nooo. Crackers, you're supposed to convince someone else that you'll give them a fine shave!
Don't listen to everybody on the forum...just the ones that are right.
Never just put your razor down...always place your razor in a safe place, free from anything that will cause it to drop, whether on you, the faucet or the floor.
Planning can prevent blood loss and ruining your razor.
Don't try to do too much, too fast. Take your time.
Don't shave with a dull razor. You will press too hard and make too many passes.
