I had a lot of fun watching Lynn Abrams on YouTube and learning about stropping. I have been stropping knives for a long time, but not razors. It was fun and informative to learn from him. I then thought, hmmm.... I need a good razor strop. Well he described them so well and showed what he likes, so I was good to go. I had some time between clients this afternoon and was able to get one made. I used some heavy harness leather and two steel D rings. I think it will last a while. I brought it home and stropped two razors and was totally amazed how sharp they became. It is great to learn all this stuff from experienced people here on SRP.
