Hi, and welcome to SRP.
I don't know if there are people in the UK already offering honing services or not.
I live in Belgium and have honed razors for some of our Irish and UK based members. Shipping within the EU is reasonably safe and cheap.
Send me a PM if you are interested and we can work something out.
Btw, have you tried shaving with it as-is (just stropping)?Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Thanked: 0Give us more details about your razor, please. It might be shave ready, but the odds are heavily against it.
I know that both Bruno and Alex (LX_Emergency) are European based honers, although there is a fair community here of people living in the UK.

I can do it if you need someone UK based. At the moment I'm thinking of somewhere around £10 for honing a new (or reasonably good condition) razor, including return (uninsured) postage. I'm not too keen to do major edge work on ebay 'rescue' cases at the moment - sorry!
Send me a PM if you're interested.
Cheers,
Iwan

Iwan honed my straight and did a fantistic job, I'd certainly reccomend sending a private message.
I'd taken a small chunk out of my blade so sent it to Iwan, it came back shave ready and sterailsed in a matter of 2-3 days.
Fantastic job done, As you can see, I cant praise him enough and will certainly be contacting him for more honing when I get the need
