Hi there neighbour.
Wow, even neighbours are to find here?!?! Great!
I must admit, there is a dictionary sitting right next to me and I have not mentioned a longer visit to the USA which was in 1992.
The edition of the dictionary dates back to 1970, though.
Should buy a new one, soon!
Nicholas, write freely without worrying too much -- even if your English is way off ---which it hasn't been --- most people here will be able to piece it together and others like Xman will correct you as you go along.
If I could write/speak/read another language as well as you do English, I would consider myself accomplished.
So let it rip as we say --- and feel free to teach a little German along the way.;)

Welcome Nicholas - your English is very good, I don't think you will have any problem here.
That means that this kid's opinion is null and void too. After all, I am just a transplanted Confed....er....Southerner.
SPY, that's right, a spy who has infiltrated the Land of Lincoln!
Anyway, Nicholas, welcome to SRP, I am sure you will find a great wealth of information. And you're English is fantastic!
Welcome aboard, your english is very easy to read.:tu
I look forward to seeing some of your restorations if they are as bad as your english:rolleyes::roflmao
edit: TIP/ I find it hard to convey the feeling behind the words and so use the emoticons to help.
Wilkommen Nicholas
There are even people from Germany already in this forum - though I am a Brit, I moved here a while back and love this place!!!
Hope to see you around
Si
Overwhelming all this welcome-stuff!
Thank you all very much!!!
