Thread: Thanks you Euclid440

I had the privilege to meet Euclid440 on Saturday. What a pleasure it was to learn from a true craftsman and gentleman. I went there because I paid a guy to hone my two razors and he butchered them both. He had good references and I thought why send them out when I can go a half hour from home. BIG mistake on my part he sharpens knives and I'm sure he's good at it because he gave me serrated razors.

I show up and Marty meets me out front welcomes me in we chat for a few minutes and then he starts teaching me about honing. I wish I could have stayed all day this guy is a wealth of knowledge. I hone my Dovo for an hour or so I get it ok at best. Then I realize the time and have to go. Marty takes me two razors that I've been messing with for a couple hours and in 5 min I have two beautifully honed razors.

I know I'm gushing like a school girl sorry but the guys I met there were all awesome and I really had a great time. I can't wait to do it again.

Thanks to Euclid440 and your beautiful wife for welcoming in a stranger and teaching me I really appreciate it.
