Thread: Angle of growth

Brendons post got me thinking...

So I decided to pluck a hair from my cheek (ouch) and look at it under the microscope. Some jiggerpokery later, and the photo below is the result. This is the result of one single WTG pass yesterday (couldnt be bothered with XTG). Judging by the angle of the cut end, my hair is growing out of my skin at roughly the angle you see in the pic.

How do you interpret this pic? How would one go ATG with such an angle of growth without causing the razor to dig in underneath the hair?
