Trade fox mark Germany new old stock never used peacock

A friend of mine gave me this as a gift because I grew a beard and was complaining that I couldnt find anywhere that sells straight edge razors... It looks way to nice to use. Anyone know anything about this or its value? It is in MINT condition even the box for its age Im assuming its old like 1930s

First of all, we don't do valuations on razors here. It is worth whatever you think it is worth.
Second, nice razor! The scales are beautiful.
Your guess of early 1900s is probably correct.
I'm not familiar with Hemmingson Brothers, but someone around here probably is.

Oh ok got ya I know Hemmingsons Bros. was a high end hardware store in Moline Il. Started in 1912 thats just what I found out via google. I just have no Idea where to go to eve find out the value. It looks like its been in the box since it was originally purchased. I would like to know more about it. Thanks

The fox trademark is your next clue to research. A lot of businesses had their names put on razors even though they were made by a company in Germany. Hardware stores, department stores, tractor supplies , any body that bought a minimum quantity I suppose. I have 2 razors with Fox on them. No other names :<0) Fox Cutlery.
