    Default Hello

    Hello
My name is Allan, I started shavg with a DE when I turned 18 in May of 2015
a year later when I turned 19, in May of 2016 I bought a straight razor.
I am still getting used to the straight, I use it a few times a week only, but I am slowly learning!
Perhaps one of the younger forum members on here, but I am looking forward to being a part of this community.
    Happy shaving everybody

    Welcome to SRP!
I really wish I would have started with the straight when I was 19. It would have saved me years of bad shaving experiences.

Going slow as you learn is the smart way to do it.

If you haven't done so already, read through the beginner's section in the library. It will answer a lot of your questions.
And feel free to ask us anything, we are here to help.
