Thread: New member, long story.

I've been doing a lot of research and kept seeing it was encouraged to do a formal introduction. I began shaving with a double edge safety razor for several months. I stopped going to sports clips for a haircut and instead went to an old school barber. The process of the shavette intrigued me, then I went to a local "man gear" store that sold brushes and soap.

After I got hooked on that I bought a shavette and have been using it for about three weeks or so. This has allowed me to shave daily with zero irritation where, before, I had to push grooming standards and shave every other day.

I'm and endless reader and was very content with the shave I was getting with the shavette, even the senseless nicks I gave myself. I was researching different soaps and splashes and crossed a thread somewhere online that was titled something like "Shaving with my new Kropp". �� This was very intriguing to me because that is my family name. Naturally I have to get one or a few for myself and one for my father. Not wanting to buy some eBay trash unknowingly lead me here to be able to inquire about what to look for and learn. This seems to be the place with the most mentions of the razors I'm looking for.
