You’ll find a lot of good advice here, especially related to maintenance and restoration.

A lot of the members are probably salivating over the number and age of the razors you mentioned are in your grandfathers collection. A find like that doesn’t appear out of the blue very often.

We do have one rule of thumb: if there isn’t a picture, it doesn’t exist. We love photos of razors and good, detailed pics will help us offer meaningful suggestions and advice.

Would be great to see your collection. They are some great threads on restoring razors that will help immensely.
Save a few heirloom razors, many here would love to have that privilege.

Welcome to the forum. I would say start with the least valuable razors. You would not be the first one to stuff a razor trying to learn restoration. Also learning to use them would also be a great advantage.

Welcome my new friend. As Rez was saying, start restoring a razor that dont need much and is not fancy or worth much. We have lots of info in our library about fixing , restoring and honing razors. Also a section on how to use them. That makes the fun much more exciting.
