Default Vitamin E Oil on Bad Cuts

Some of you may have seen my thread about nearly removing my lip when my cat jumped onto the sink while I was shaving (Cats and Straights Don't Mix). That happened Monday, and from the depth of the cut I expected to be in bad shape for at least a week. I don't heal very fast. I treated it with vitamin E oil every day to try to speed the process along and four days later it's nearly healed! If it continues at this rate it should be nearly invisible by Monday. I get the oil in the little capsules sold at the pharmacy, they're full of the vitamin E oil. Just poke the end with a pin and squeeze out a little to apply to your cut. Great stuff to have on hand while you're learning the ropes.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try it the next time.

It is also supposed to help with scarring.
