Where to actually see/hold razors?

I've tried a couple of the places in forney a while back, the place i tried (jot 'em downs?) didn't have any, maybe that's changed.

These get-togethers sound like a blast! I would love to go to one if there was ever one around me. I'm sure to learn a lot...especially from a honing seminar!

I was in Forney lookin for str8s... so was another fell out shoppin for straight razors..... he found a little gem of a Rolls.

If you know an older barber, I'd talk to him. Mine gave me several razors(a red point as well as a red imp) and his old strop, for nothing. He's also been a great fount of knowledge when it comes to use and care.

Sorry lakemonster, it wasn't me. I wish it had been. I am getting the itch to start shopping.

Nun2sharp, I appreciate the advice. I actually have two true old-school barbers in my town. I think I will go check them out.
