Thanked: 14Shaving follow-up to 'For Free: But you have to "Pass it on"'
http://straightrazorpalace.com/showt...highlight=pass
I received this razor this week and she is a beauty. I had my first shave with this razor today. Used Nancy Boy signature as I didn't want to have to worry about cream or soap drying out as I knew I would be taking my time. One wtg pass. Passable results on the right side of my face no nicks or weepers. My left handed technique needs quite a bit of work lots of stubble patches left.
I am curious about the weight of straights. I'm coming from using a Futur which seems heavier. Are there light and heavy weight straights for the same size i.e a light 6/8 and a heavy 6/8?
I wish I could find the shaving zone chart to print out and tape to my mirror. Anybody know the URL for the chart?
Also I wasn't sure what part of the edge to shave with (middle, towards toe) I ended up using the middle to toe part of the edge. I need to review Lynn's DVD
Big thanks to Glen for making this happen
