Thanked: 0Razor Oil
Greetings,
I am somewhat new to the razor seen other than watching Gramps shave with his straight razor and also myself. But as far as a little oil on the blade. How often and is there any problem at all with using a dab of WD40?

Most people around here use either mineral oil or camella.

Thanked: 271I think that there are chemicals in WD-40 that will irritate your skin. I would use something made for the purpose like Sterol.

Yea, stay away from oils that don't go good with your skin in case you get some on. Tuffglide, sterol, mineral oil are all good and there are a bunch of others.
