When using a square point blade do be careful when changing stroke positions. I now have a duelling scar on my cheek from carelessly moving the blade for a better stroke. I had no intentions of touching my face while making the move. My razor is a Black Diamond 6/8 silver steel hollow and is a bit longer than my usual IXL 6/8 quarter hollow smiler. That tiip must be under control all of the time. I never had problems while making the strokes. It was the pick-up and move that got me. Never apply pressure toward the tip of the blade either. The cut was not deep and will heal fast. Some shavers round off the end of the blade to prevent these things from happening. I keep mine stock for trade-ins later. Trades are almost as much fun as purchases. One man's curse is another man's favorite.
