Creating that space and getting into the art of stropping and whipping up a lather, deciding which aftershave lotion to use, smelling the coffee. It feels good as my technique improves and I grow more confident. When I oversleep and have to rush off to work I end up just slapping soap on my face and sluicing the Fusion razor around my face. Then I feel regret at not getting up a half hour earlier so I could have some straight razor time. Because if I don't have time to do the whole straight shave routine then I'd rather pass. It is not a thing to rush, and I really don't want to bleed all over. No fun.
