My first shave with a spike point went similarly. Not only did I take out a little slice on my chin, but I filleted my jaw in front of and below my right ear. A nice, deep cut about an inch long, which quickly released a trickle of blood down my jaw and into the sink. I got careless and forgot that the spike point was not round like my other razor, and went a little fast to boot.

I'll never make that mistake again. It's been over a week, and it still has not completely healed. I always thought that smart quip about shaving with an instrument that can quickly make the water in the sink run red was funny. It might be funny still, but it's also true.

I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one it's happened to.

Thats actually a popular spot to get cut especially with spike points. You move the razor to get under the ear and get it to close to your face and there ya go.........
