    Smile can anyone help?

    Hello,
Just wondering if anyone can help, I have on my desk at the moment a set of straight razors 7 in all with the days of the week stamped on the top, the blades have the engraved words KAUFBRO RING on them, other info also engraved BEST SILVER STEEL Made in Germany Best Qual. Silver Steel, the handles are in Tortoishell or something made to resemble it filigree silver decoration to the top and bottom of each handle, they are in a damaged original silk lined case, some rusting to the blades due to being stored somewhere damp. Are these worth restorable ?, thank you in advance of any advice given.

A pic would help a lot. They do sound like quality razors.

Like Randy say's, without a photo it's hard to judge. They sound like they were originally high quality stuff, so it's down to how much damage has been done over the years.

You could attach them(click on the paperclip) to your post and then insert them where you like..

    Hello,
I tried to attach them but for some reason they failed to show up so I have uploaded them to my album on this site full public access so you should be able to see them now.
    thank you

I see a lot of rust along the edges. That's a deal killer to me. Plus a lot of rust on the blades which would require a lot of work to get out.
If any of the blades have no rust along the edge and a minimal amount on the blade then that one can be saved.
