    Default Scales

I'm thinking of getting some new, custom scales for one or two of my razors. I just wanted some info on material, some pics of peoples work, and of course prices. Can someone help me out?

Take a look in the classifieds section on this site. There's a "Member Services" section you should look into. A handful of the members there do custom scales. You could always shoot off a PM to one of those members and get more info on what they can do for you.

Also, you may want to take a look in the workshop and razor sections where people show their restores and get a few ideas of the materials, styles that people use for scales and the artists behind them ;-).

    Thumbs up

I just started my own project. I posted a picture of where I am so far in the workshop section.
I recommend your local hobby shop, and a woodwork supplier. Supplies are not hard to find at all. 1/16 brass rod, #0 washers, and scales can be found precut to 1/8" in a variety of hardwoods.

    Good luck!
