Thanked: 172CAN"T SEE WHAT I"M DOING
I've been watching the shaving how-to videos and see a great view of the technique, however the camera angle makes this possible. When looking into the mirror my shaving hand is in the way of the view of my face.
How's about some advice .If I use a cross hand R- hand shaving L-side and visee-versee I can see but feels a little weard.

Have you ever heard the phrase "I could do that with my eyes closed"? There are parts of shaving where that is pretty close to the truth.
Because of my vision, the fact I normally shave without wearing my glasses, and the position of both my razor hand and my stretching hand there are a couple places on my face where I'm pretty much shaving by feel alone...and with a little practice you'll find it becomes second nature. I think someone on here once opined the mark of a true bladesmith was the ability to shave blindfolded.
Just don't become so engrossed with being able to see you get so close to the mirror that you end up bumping the scales on the mirror and cutting yourself.

I think the angles are just the same for all of us. The way how each of us hold a razor varies.
