Thanked: 6Shave just improved tonight with a couple of changes.
After watching Lynn's shaving video again, I watched closely which part of the blade he uses. After applying some of his techniques, here is what helped me tremendously.
1) Stopped using the toe so much. I was trying to use it too much which made many spots tough to get to. I think it also dulled the toe before the shave was done.
2) Mostly use the heal on my chin and mustache. Better control since it's closer to the hand. Also, it seems sharper.
3) Stretch the neck like Lynn did in the video. I probably spent a whole minute moving my mouth and stretching my neck to find a good spot to get the valley between my throat and jowl area. I managed to find a good head position and stretch that made it mostly flat and then it shaved easily.
After those things, I got my first full shave. It's not a close shave, but it's a shave! No nicks this time as well.
