It was inevitable I suppose. I managed to slice myself twice today, the only pride I can take is that I didnt nick myself at all the first two days I was using a str8..! This isnt going to stop me though!

I got a half inch nick on my left cheek and a smaller 1/4 inch one just below my bottom lip. In fairness, I find the left side of my face harder to shave, and the mouth/ chin area is always tricky I've heard! I'm guessing its a case of practice makes perfect?

My stroppings coming along well though, and the blade is really singing now. Only snag is it takes a while at the moment to strop up, lather up, shave and then tidy/ re-strop! I guess I take about 40 mins to do the whole lot start to finish, another case of more practice needed!

I also made a second pass on my cheeks and I got a really smooth finish, far better than my DE, I genuinely cant feel any stubble there in any direction! So I can get BBS cheeks, now I need to work on the rest of my face!

I've been reading other peoples stories about starting with str8s and its encouraging and informative to read their advice so thanks very much guys..!
