Thread: Another Noob

Hi everyone, I am new here and thought I would make my first post. I started straight shaving about a month ago and am having a blast with it. Before that I used a DS razor for about a year.

So far, I have a Dovo stainless, a Puma and a Thiers Issard razor. They are all great shavers, but the Dovo is my current fav. These are all full hollow grinds, I think I would like to find a 1/4 grind or a wedge to try at some point.

Anyway, lots of information here to read.

Its really amazing how we are all scared of the straight until we actually pick it up and learn to use it and turn it into a thing of beauty. Myself I am nine shaves in and have not developed enough prowess with the blade to shave with a striaght during the week, but I am practicing with my dovo on the week-ends.
