An E-Bay Miracle
We ofter hear of E-Bay horror stories so when I just had a positive experience I thought it worth repeating.
I'm new to straight edge razors and SRP, and just purchased my first three razors from E-Bay over the last 10 days. One of them was a C-Mon Super XX listed by the seller as being in great shape. By the way, it's not one of the newer C-Mon's being produced by Dovo.
I won it with a bid of $86.00 incl S/H, kinda high, but both the razor and original Peter J Michels/C-Mon box looked to be in very good to mint condition.
Well, it arrived today and the scales are warped, a fact the seller failed to divulge. I e-mailed the seller and requested a $15.00 refund, as it would likely cost me $30.00 to fix the warped scales, but I was willing to absorb half the expense.
To my shock the seller sent me a paypal refund for $30 bucks and his apology for the hassle. No excuses or attempts to negotiate my request for $15 down to $10 or less, he sends me double what I asked for.
If thats not an E-Bay miracle, what is !
