There are indeed some truly generous & wonderful people here. I'm periodically reminded when i receive some unexpected encouragement, or even on a few occasions an offer to share some soaps, scale material, or even the odd blade that requires more work than the owner wants to do. It spurs me on to try to reciprocate when i see that i can help a member.
I have a razor that you can have if you'd like? It really is nothing special, but i can make it shave ready & it may help you get started.

The generosity I've taken part of on account of the members here is more then I'd ever expect from a friend let alone strangers.

I'd love to say something poetic and heart warming as a tribute to these 'fellas but sometimes words just can't describe the point you'd wish to express.

Thanks SRP, I'm off to have another shave courtesy of your time, patience and knowledge.

it has been my experience that here are some of the greatest group of people you will encounter anywhere. all are willing to help and assist in anyway. do not be afraid to ask lots of questions. most of all enjoy the experience with straight shaving.

This is a good place to get your dose of "wholesome". It's like that family restaurant you go to yet still feel like you're home...except no food.

It is like that!! I live in a very fast paced city, but I was born in a small town, and even after all this time here, I still feel more like a small town guy. Coming here is a nice respite.

Ben, I got your PM before seeing this thread. Thank you so much for this generous offer and regardless of the make or model, to me, the razor you've offered will always be "something special".
    Thanks again.

This site seems full of members who live and breathe the "pay it forward" message.
    Thanks to all.
