Thanked: 10some major mistakes
Hello fellow members,
I would like to share some experiences I recently had with a straight razor. About two weeks ago, I was in a rush to get ready for work. I should have known better and just used my mach 3. Well, I did most of my shave with the straight and the rest with the mach 3. As I was hurrying to clean my razor, I let my thumb get too close to the edge and oops! I had a deep cut to my thumb pad. I tried everything to stop the bleeding, but it was not good. I had to drive to the ER and get four stitches. It is almost all healed , thank god. I attribute this to trying to go too fast and not paying attention. A few days, I cut myself on my jaw line as I was again in a rush. The moral of this story is GO SLOW AND TAKE YOUR TIME. If time is short, wait until you have time to take it easy and slow. This is the best advice I can offer a newbie. I will most likely have a small scar on my jaw line, but I am going to try to minimize it. I have noticed that pressure and angle have to be perfect or else you risk a nasty cut. I have learned a lot from these experiences. I just wanted to share this with everyone. Take care.
