Pre shave oil on second pass?

If one uses pre shave oil is it neccessary to reapply it before lathering up for the second ATG pass?

I don't think it would hurt. I never tried reapplying it after using it initially.

Also, I found that if your shaving soap isn't "moisturizing" enough, it might pay to pick up some glycerin at your local Walmart, or drug store and adding it when you ship up your shaving cream.

I recently started doing this, and I found that the glycerin is moisturizing enough to take the place of the shave oil.

Just a personal observation, would love to hear if anyone else feels the same.
