Hi all,

Im new to straight razors. I bought a dovo shavette and used it yesterday. Ive been shaved with a straight razor before at a barber shop and loved it. I used my shavette yesterday and loved it too. I didnt cut myself at all but did suffer minor irritation from what i would say my skin has to get used to it and my beard was not softened enough. anyway....
Im looking to get a good razor, strop, and honing stone in the near future what i want to know is why the dramatic price differences on razors and what would you recommend as i am not looking to spend $200 on a razor alone??
