Welcome to SRP. I don't want to be a wet blanket but IMHO that razor isn't worth the price of honing it up. It has a lot of hone wear and although it could be honed and used my guess is it wouldn't bring $5.00 on ebay.
OTOH, if it was my grandfather's razor I would have it honed up no matter what. Being my girlfriend's I might have it done to show my appreciation for her kindness. Another way to go if you have any ambitions to eventually hone your own razors would be to save it for a razor to practice with when you begin to hone your own. Just my two bits.
