Thread: 2nd shave, even better

Did my second str8 shave last night, went even better than the first. Tried a few things differently:

- slowed done and spent much more time stropping- really made a difference
- shaved after a shower
- added a drop of Maca pre-shave oil and a drop of tea-tree oil to my shaving cream (Castle Forbes lavender). Won't add the tea-tree next time, the smell is too medicinal
- shaved only WTG
- used a little maca root soothing balm after

Results: no nicks, no razor burn. Both cheeks smooth, still not getting my neck as smooth as I like but it's definitely acceptable.

Love the str8, and just got my Ogallala bay rum in the mail today!
