Thanked: 0Whendo you Shave?
Wanted to see when you guys shave? I am finding it a little tough to shave in the morning and wanted to know if anyone shaves at night before they go to bed, or would that be a waste of a great shave?

I usually like to shave in the morning about an hour after i wake up( however my job differs every week but for the most part i wake up at 8) but i also enjoy a night shave as well and even a mid afternoon shave when i had to get up really early and couldnt do it then. But the thing about morning shaves is that it prepares me to face the day nice and relaxed and feeling and smelling good. That cannot be beat

Thanked: 43I'm a regular night shaver; my mornings just don't allow for the kind of time I like to dedicate to getting a comfortable (and safe) shave. If I started work later, I might consider switching, but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon.

Thanked: 44Morning
I get a LOT closer shave with a SR than my electrics, but it still only lasts until 8 hours before a 5:00 shadow starts to become apparent... So I shave in the morning. (My electrics only lasted until noon).

I shave at night. Even when I wake up the shave is as close as I could get from a Mach3. I don't even start getting stubble until about 1pm.

When Do You Shave?
Hello, chrbia1:
Currently I shave at home, about 6:45 a.m. I am up at 4:00 a.m. or 5:00 a.m., depending on which way the current flows. My general rule is to wait at least 30 minutes after waking up to shave. I feel this allows the fluids in the face to redistribute properly for the optimum shave.
Regards,
Obie

Being retired I can shave pretty much anytime I want and can lavish as much time as I want. My choice is late mornings except for the rare times I need to be somewhere.

I always shave in the afternoon. Works out great, the shave easily holds thru the following workday.
If I have an espescially important meeting with clients, I wlll shave a couple of passes in the morning as well, but it is definitely not often, and I don't really need to. I Just like shaving.

I shave in the evenings. Since showering and shaving is a ritual with all the prep work, it's about a 45 minute process for me. I'm not rushed in the evenings. However, since the shave is so close, I don't start getting stubble until around 9 in the morning.......I couldn't say that about a disposable!
Since my technique and face prep are so much better than when I first started, I suppose I could do it in the morning. It's so hot where I live that the sweat was causing me irritation and the evening shave stopped that completely. Now that there's no irritation, I would only shave in the mornings if it was absolutely necessary.
