So my shaves take a long time. And I have a little extra work to do on the neck. While driving home yesterday, I was contorting my face to see how I can make things easier. What I learned was shocking.

It is absolutely amazing how I can read, and read, and re-read how to improve my shaves, but still not get it right. You would think that the term stretching would be easily understood.

My new contortion has me opening my mouth as wide as I can while keeping a tight oval with my lips. It has allowed my cheeks to extend way down into my neck. If I combine this move with some hand stretching, I am shaving one side of my face and 3/4 of my neck in one straight pass. And I can even pull the other jaw area into this path, making the majority of my neck an easy pass.

My shave speed improved immensley without me trying to rush. The comfort and confidence boost was huge.

In the world of a noob shaver...this was a BIG change.

Nothing new that vets know, I am sure, but to any other noob out there like me, keep trying things and spend some time making funny faces. It is amazing what a huge difference it made for me.

Damn I can't wait to shave again...
