Thanked: 3795I've never heard of them, but if they are in any way associated with the movie character, then the odds are good that they are crap in the same manner as Sweeney Todd razors.

Thanked: 0No, they aren't from the movie!! I actually have one and I've been searching forever to try and find info on it! The razor says
FRED . KRUGER
Detroit Mich.
Germany
On the other side it says "BLACKUTTER"
This razor is my great grandfathers, he got it when he got out of barber school way back in the 20s or 30s. I'd love more info on it

I didn't get a chance to measure the blade before I left my grandparents house, and I can't tell what the scales are made of. It is 1/2 Hollow though. It's in very good condition. It has a wonderful patina from being used hundreds of times on my great grandad's customers and himself. There's barely any rust and minimal pitting
As for the whole Michigan/Germany thing, my best guess is it was made in Germany and sold through Detroit? Maybe? I really don't know
Well, dang it. Sorry I didn't know they were gonna show up sidewaysLast edited by Rokumiru; 08-14-2014 at 12:18 AM.
