I've been SR shaving since about the beginning of October with my first razor a Wade & butcher 5/8 near wedge (on the SRP chart). Last week I bought my second razor off ebay a Fredrick Reynolds 13/16 full hollow.
I was interested to see what differences I would notice when shaving with a hollow as compared to the wedge and I was very surprised at how different they are! I've have shaved twice with the Reynolds and so far I really like it. The first time I shaved with it I immediately noticed that the sound it makes while shaving is much different and louder. The sound and the way the thinner blade reacts to the hairs actually helps me tell if my angle is good or not much quicker. I have also noticed that it is easier for me to strop this razor as I can hear the blade gliding along the strop. With the wedge it almost makes no noise and I find my self constantly adjusting the pressure of the blade as I strop.

I'm not sure if I'm ready to say that I like it more than the wedge yet but as a beginner I think it will help me perfect my technique much quicker with the additional cues it gives me while shaving
